It owns data centre parks in Falkenstein, Nuremberg and Helsinki, and uses third-party data centres in Ashburn, Hillsboro and Singapore through its subsidiaries Hetzner US LLC and Hetzner Singapore Pte. Ltd. Hetzner Cloud is built by a further subsidiary, Hetzner Cloud GmbH in Munich.

Hetzner describes itself as owner-managed by its German founder Martin Hetzner and not investor-backed, and the legal notice names him as one of three managing directors of the German GmbH. No shareholder list from the commercial register (Amtsgericht Ansbach, HRB 6089) was obtained: handelsregister.de and unternehmensregister.de searches need a session, and bundesanzeiger.de returned no usable result. An official-register source would be better and should replace this.
