The F41 is Freitag's original messenger bag, made from a used truck tarpaulin with a seat-belt strap and inner-tube edging. Tarpaulins are collected, washed and cut in Zurich, so every bag carries a different section of print and every unit is unique. Sewing is carried out by partner workshops in Europe and North Africa, which the record reflects rather than glosses over.
